Hell yea, we can accredit our common knowledge and global awareness entirely to the social media. Before we had this great interconnected web of shared information, no one really knew as much about what was going on around the world, nor did they care. Our age is exposed to everything that is happening around the globe, and we already choose to get involved with social change.The social media has been a tool for bringing about social change from the beginning, and independent from us meddling North Americans, places around the world have already been using the social media for protest and reform.
